Information from the Superintendent
New Egypt Schools Community Relations meeting
On November 15, 2011 at 6:30 in the High School IMC, the New Egypt Schools will
host the first Community Relations meeting of the year. The meetings will be
open to all community members. They are designed to be informational and
interactive. The goal of these meetings will be to gather input, answer
questions, provide facts, and keep the school community stakeholders informed of
the changing landscape of Public Education and the impact on the New Egypt
Schools. The meetings will be informal and allow school community members and
district administrators to discuss various topics including but not limited to:
current school issues, district initiatives, state and federal mandates, budget
planning and school safety and security protocols. Thank you for participation
and involvement in the Plumsted Township Public Schools. I look forward to
seeing you at the meeting.

Redcard or Visa you can sign up online at

We will be sponsoring mock SAT and mock ACT exams with
Revolution Prep for only $10 each. The SAT will be February
11 and the ACT will be February 25. A phone
conference to explain your scores is included. Please call 877-738-7737 to sign
up.
Our next PTO meeting is February
6 at 6:30 PM in the NEHS IMC. The NEHS PTO would like to
wish you and your family a Healthy and Happy Holiday!
We will
continue to work together with the parents, staff, and BOE to ensure that "Every

Plumsted
Library News:
The Plumsted Branch of
the Ocean County Library is now accepting applications
for the S.A.I.L. program (Service and Achievement in the
Library.) The S.A.I.L program is a summer volunteer
program open to Ocean County Teens having completed the
7th grade. The S.A.I.L. program is an opportunity for
teens to learn about the Library and earn volunteer
hours. Applications can be picked up at the Library. For
