Free Sports/Extracurricular Physicals
On Wednesday, August 4th our school physician, Dr. Andrew Nelson will be providing free sports/extracurricular physicals in the NEHS nurse’s office from 2-6pm. These physicals are on a first come, first serve basis so get there early. Also, please make sure that the first 3 pages of Packet #1 are filled out by the parent/guardian before you see the doctor or else you will not be able to get a physical.
Physical paperwork can be picked up in the main office, in the training room, or can be printed out from Mr. Sawicki’s website http://nehs.newegypt.us/Departments/Athletic%20Trainer/ATChome.html.
 

Sports Physicals Packets

All fall physicals must be turned in to Mr. Sawicki by August 12th to be eligible to play a fall sport.

Meetings & Membership: Just a reminder please check the PTO webpage (icon to left of NEHS page) to see when we will have a meeting. Due to lack of attendance we will meet as needed.

Please consider joining we NEED your ideas and help!

We would like to remind you that it is NEVER too late to join the NEHS PTO. It's just $3.00 per school year. You will receive NEHS updates via email.

3rd ANNUAL SUPER 50/50: We will be selling Super 50/50 Raffle tickets again and NEED YOUR HELP! If every family buys (2) tickets we could meet our Budget which in turn is all used for the high school students and we will not have any other fundraiser during the school year. Tickets are $20.00 each and there will be 3 cash prizes (payout determined by number of tickets actually sold). Our GOAL is to sell 1,250 at $20.00 per ticket.

We will continue to work together with the
parents, staff, and BOE to ensure that
"Every Child, Every Day, Whatever It Takes"
and make our high school the best it can be.

H1N1 Update
As you may have heard, a new influenza virus called the H1N1 influenza virus was first identified in the United States in April 2009. H1N1 has caused illness ranging from mild to severe. While most people who have had H1N1 have recovered without needing treatment, hospitalizations and deaths from infection with this virus have occurred. Whereas seasonal flu usually affects the elderly population and children under the age of two, H1N1 was seen this past spring spreading rapidly among children, teens and young adults.  Read more...

Late Bus Policy & Procedure
Students may sign up for the late bus at anytime during lunch. A sign up sheet is posted each day on the wall in the cafeteria. After lunch students may sign up in the main office if they need to take the late bus. Late bus pickup at the HS is around 3:00 PM.

FBLA Store
